These children who had never used a paint brush before, revealed themselves to be very good with colors. Their enthusiasm and their thirst for artistic activities deeply touched the artists who decided to create a permanent workshop, so that these children have the possibility of expressing their creativity.

In January 2002, La Soupape Ailée inaugurated an artistic creation workshop for the children of the district of Sourou Kouki
in Bobo Dioulasso.

This workshop is free and open to all childrens of the district of at least 7 years old.

The visual arts classes are given voluntarily by artists of the association from France in collaboration with burkinabés.
