2002, La Soupape Ailée inaugurated an artistic creation workshop for the children of the district of Sourou Kouki in Bobo Dioulasso.This workshop is free and open to all childrens of the district of at least 7 years old.
The visual arts classes are given voluntarily by artists of the association from France in collaboration with burkinabés.
In ten years, fifty homes conducted by nearly 35 artists have helped over 200 children between 6 and 17 years to develop their artistic expression through various artistic techniques.

En 2011 la Soupape Ailéehas moved its structure in the concession of the association Erika Koko.
The workshop will not be in a familly court but in a place dedicated to cultural exchanges, artist residencies and exhibitions.
A neighborhood equally popular but more close to downtown. It is also the district where many bronze artists, sculptors, painters but also musicians, producers Jembe, work.

In 1995 in Bobo Dioulasso, Ange & Damnation introduced some children to painting by improvising a workshop in a courtyard.

These children who had never used a paint brush before, revealed themselves to be very good with colors. Their enthusiasm and their thirst for artistic activities deeply touched the artists who decided to create a permanent workshop, so that these children have the possibility of expressing their creativity.
